On the 16th of February, the last night before Lent, we host an introduction event in the parish hall next to the cathedral of St. Joseph. We’ll start at 16:30 with a tour of the cathedral by Father Wagenaar. Maybe you already know the interior of the cathedral, but even then it is worthwhile to take a closer look. Everything has a function and a story.

After the tour, at around 17:15, the student parish will introduce itself for the boards, councils and committees of the various Christian student groups in Groningen, and any other interested people. Of course there’ll be a drinks and snacks too. Want to attend? Send us an email.

After that there is a nice pancake dinner at the Pannenkoekschip on the Schuitendiep, for anyone who wants to. The next day being Ash Wednesday, we take the chance to have a good dinner. The parish will pay for part of the costs, so you’ll only pay 5 euros and any drinks you’d care to order. For this too: let us know via email if you want to come.
